Man Found Guilty Of Shooting Convenience Store Clerk

An Amarillo man has been found guilty of murdering an Amarillo convenience store clerk.

A Potter County jury returned a guilty verdict for Milo Williams.

47th District Attorney Randall Sims says the jury deliberated for about an hour before they concluded that Williams shot and killed a 61 year old clerk at a Toot-N-Totum on south Western in April of 2001.

The punishment phase of the trial is set to begin Friday morning.

The rest of this man's life will be spent in prison... That's the sentence Judge Don Emerson handed down to Milo Williams today.

Williams is convicted of killing an Amarillo convenience store clerk. A Potter County jury found him guilty of murder Thursday afternoon.

Williams shot and killed 61 year old Donald Heath at this Toot-N-Totum on South Western in April of 2001.
