• Edward Louis Draughan Jr., 20, of Kermit, was shot
outside Independence Hall, 608. S. Independence St., on
Oct. 26. Steven Dewayne Evans was charged in connec-
tion with the shooting that occurred after a brawl inside
the hall spilled outside.
