Kaleb Miles, 11 months old, was beaten in the head with an unknown object while in the care of a babysitter. Kevin Darnes, 24, was arrested in connection with Miles' death and later indicted for capital murder. Darnes told police officers the child fell from the couch earlier that afternoon but did not lose consciousness and stop breathing until he checked on he child at 11 p.m.
