Armando Misael Ramos Hernandez, 46, was found dead beside a dumpster in a north Amarillo alley on September 6, 2022.^[1]

Police responded to an alley near Oak Drive and Sycamore Avenue, close to Hamlet Elementary School. Investigators initially released few details, but an examination later led authorities to classify Hernandez’s death as a homicide.^[2]

Police have not publicly disclosed how he died, what motive may have been involved or whether investigators identified a suspect. No arrest has been publicly reported.
