Matthew Ivan Zimmerman, was an Arizona resident who was 31 at the time of Miranda Zimmerman’s death. On March 4, 2013, Zimmerman called emergency dispatchers to report that a woman was dead Room 229 of the Luxury Inn and Suites, 2915 East Interstate 40. However, he left the motel room before officers arrived. Police located him in the motel parking lot and arrested him.
